Happy TOC Tuesday FeastFam! (just made that name up, what y'all think?)
Today we're talking one of my favorite topics in the health & wellness industry - intermittent fasting.
What is intermittent fasting?
Well, much like this blog intermittent fasting is best kept short, sweet, and to the point.
It is a style of dieting thats not even truly a diet!
It's more of an eating pattern.
Based around short windows of eating, typical intermittent fast splits are either 16 hours long every day, or (2) 24 hour fasts twice a week.
This eating pattern is so effective and popular because, frankly, most of us forget to eat throughout the day anyways.
Timing the windows properly though can do wonders for regulating calorie intake.
The trick is, keeping your intake (figuratively) sweet - when you do get to eat, you have more room for higher calorie meals.
So eat foods you like and enjoy.
Pairing intermittent fasting with exercise means for some hyperdrive action and that's where I use this eating patter to spark weight loss in my clients and personal life.
Getting to the point:
- Eat 8 hours a day (throughout your day/night job shift is most common)
- End your fast immediately after you workout.
- Enjoy the food you eat. :)
That's all folks!
If this helped you I implore you to share with a friend, we would greatly appreciate it. :)
Love and positivity,
